Terex Utilities Workshop Registration


Attendees of a workshop will participate in numerous activities across the training. The hands-on activities are integrated with the training material and the entire class will be delivered in a shop environment.  The training is designed to educate participants in maintenance, trouble shooting and repair procedures for the product focused on during the workshop.

Currently we are offering Workshops on the following products, others will be added based on customer requests.

Examples of the hands-on tasks performed during the Distribution Aerial Workshop (subject to change):

  • Understanding and using load charts
  • Perform a periodic inspection
  • Troubleshoot PTO issues
  • Change the direction of a pump
  • Perform a flow test on a pump and verify system pressure
  • Take apart and reassemble a valve
  • Verify the setting on a holding valve
  • Take apart and reassemble a cylinder
  • Take an oil sample
  • Troubleshoot interlock issues
  • Perform a leakage test on outriggers
  • Determine if fiberglass damage is repairable
  • Cylinder drift testing
  • Perform a deflection test
  • Check backlash
  • Inspect rope for damage
  • Inspect hooks for damage
  • Inspect chain for damage
  • Troubleshoot leveling problems

  • Understanding and using load charts
  • Perform a periodic inspection
  • Troubleshoot PTO issues
  • Change the direction of a pump
  • Perform a flow test on a pump and verify system pressure
  • Take apart and reassemble a valve
  • Verify the setting on a holding valve
  • Take apart and reassemble a cylinder
  • Take an oil sample
  • Perform a leakage test on outriggers
  • Replace hanger latch and spring
  • Set boom HOP
  • Bleed and set rotation HOP
  • Troubleshoot interlock issues
  • Determine if fiberglass damage is repairable
  • Cylinder drift testing
  • Perform a deflection test
  • Check backlash
  • Identify Critical Welds
  • Check reduced pressure
  • Match cylinder counterbalance valves
  • Boss repair kit
  • Troubleshoot the pole guide interlock system
  • Install seals on the trombone tube
  • Flow test a digger head
  • Change out a digger spring

Other troubleshooting scenarios that may be present during the training will also be addressed.

Complete the registration form with the attendee’s information and choose the desired workshop. This information will be used to register the attendee and communicate with them as the class approaches.

After invoicing, payments can be made via check, wire, or credit card.

Attendee substitutions are allowed at any time.

Cancellations within 30 days of the Workshop will be charged the full cost of the Workshop.
