Standalone Core Barrel / Extendable Pilot Bit

Coring of fractural and non fractural rock, non-reinforced and reinforced concrete. For use when material cannot be effectively drilled with conventional digger derrick augers. The optional The extendable pilot used with the barrel allows for an easy start and provides additional stability in extremely hard rock or out of level surfaces.

Standard specification are as follows:

• 2”, 2-1/2”, 2-5/8” or 3” Hex Hub available.
• 5/8” wall thickness.
• 30” barrel length.
• 5-tooth cut pattern.
• Available with bullet teeth, J-tooth, or hex tooth   configuration.
• Relief slots around barrel circumference.
• Relief cuts in top for reduced crowd pressure.
