The Terex General 80 is known as the original digger truck to get the work done under the toughest working conditions. Both truck and track-mounted General Series digger derricks are core products for building and supporting the transmission grid. The General 80 leverages many Terex pioneered digger derrick design features such as trapezoidal dual hydraulic lift cylinders which work to stabilize the boom during digging and rotating; a retractable rectangular boom; and filament wound fiberglass third boom section.
