Terex Cranes announces Bill Cox as the new sales director for Terex Cranes North America. In his role, he will work with Terex Cranes’ senior management to set and drive equipment sales strategy throughout the United States and Canada, lead the Terex Cranes internal and field sales teams, and interact with Terex Cranes distributors and customers. He replaces Mark Phillippi, who will retire at the end of the year.

New construction projects always come with a set of challenges, but the site and lifting needs are usually straight forward enough that several different crane options fit the requirements. Building reconstruction, on the other hand, typically comes with its own unique challenges. Often, there are obstacles in the way that make selecting the right crane much more difficult, and bidding the right crane can be the difference between getting the job and moving on to the next opportunity.

France’s tower crane rental specialists LOGA is expanding its fleet with the addition of seven new Terex® CTT 132-6 flat top tower cranes. LOGA selected the newest flat top tower crane in the Terex product line because of its impressive load chart and working range. The CTT 132-6 performs a wider range of applications than competitive models, making it well-suited for rental.

Dutch tower crane rental and sales specialist Stravers Torenkranen (STK) is expanding its fleet with the addition of six new Terex® CTT 332-16, five new CTT 182-8 and 11 young-used CTT 231-12 flat top tower cranes. Company officials attribute its fleet expansion to growing demands in the Dutch and Belgian markets. The new Terex units will be joining a fleet that is growing to more than a hundred Terex flat top crane models.

Terex Cranes announces the return of Thomas Schramm to the Terex team as Vice President Sales and Product Support, EMEAR. In his role, he will drive the sales and product support strategy and lead team members in Europe and the Middle East (EMEAR) for the extensive line of Terex and Demag branded mobile and crawler crane models. Additionally, he will act as a Demag brand ambassador globally.

Terex Cranes proudly introduces the newest addition to its growing tower crane family, the Terex® CTT 472-20 flat top tower crane. This new Terex 20-tonne (22-U.S.-ton) class crane expands maximum jib length to 80 m (262.5 ft) and increases load charts over previous models offering the same lift capacity on the whole jib length, with a maximum load at the full length of the jib tip of 4 tonnes (4.4 U.S. tons).

Terex Cranes announces Farhat Service Center as an authorized distributor for Lebanon. Farhat Service Center now provides local equipment sales, and service and parts support for Demag all terrain cranes and Terex rough terrain cranes.

Singapore-based tower crane rental, sales and service specialists Crane World Asia is expanding its fleet with the addition of 13 new Terex® CTL 260-18 luffing jib tower cranes. This order follows recent purchases of one CTL 650F-45 luffing jib tower crane in May and 17 CTL 260-18 tower cranes in the first quarter of 2017. In total, Crane World Asia has bought more than 60 units new luffing jib tower cranes in a span of two years.
