Terex CSE Series: Simply New- incorporates simplicity and robustness

Terex Cranes has launched the CSE 32 and CSE 30—two new models that form part of the new CSE Series of self erecting cranes. The CSE Series incorporates the simplicity and robustness of the previous CBR models with a new range of functions to improve safety and performance.

Fabio Di Minico, Technical Leader, Self-Erecting Cranes explains, “We started designing the CSE Series by analysing what our customers liked about our reputable CBR cranes and worked to improve them by looking at the latest technologies and features across our biggest CTT and CTL cranes, analysing which would be most useful in the self-erecting segment, and applying them to the new CSE models”.

The result is a family of self erecting cranes that are electronically controlled and features a new range of functions, such as Terex Power Plus and Easy Setup, giving precise control over crane operation to provide extremely accurate load handling, improved performance and enhanced safety. The hoisting performance is market leading—both in the maximum capacity and in the tip load. Daily operation on the jobsite is simplified thanks to clever design improvements, including the reduced ballast radius and the removable base ballast.

The CSE Series can be further equipped with Anti-CollisionZoning Systems and T-Link Telematics Platform for remote control of crane fleet operating data, providing the customer with real-time information on the performance of their crane, meaning effective machine management and maximising uptime—an absolute novelty in the self-erecting segment.

CSE models are compliant to the newest European Regulation EN 14439-1.

CSE 32 and CSE 30 models are just the beginning of the CSE Series; the family will soon expand with the addition of new models.
