At bauma 2016, Terex Cranes brought back the Demag brand and at the same time announced that we were revving up our innovation engine.  Over the past three years, we followed that announcement with action – with more than 15 new products successfully introduced, along with numerous developments in service and technology. By continually looking to “Rethink”, we are bringing to market solutions that provide real world benefits and give our customers the competitive advantage they need:

At bauma 2019, customers can expect a new wave of innovation with more new product launches and technological innovations developed with them and for them.

Rethink Innovation
Our customers need their cranes to be easy and efficient to transport, set-up and handle. It sounds simple – but after decades of development, it takes fresh ideas to come up with better solutions to these familiar needs. At the same time, new challenges must be addressed, including crowded jobsites, new regulations and increased competition. That’s why we are retinking innovation – and introducing more new products, features and technologies at bauma 2019.

Since our legendary Demag brand was reborn three years ago, we launched several major products including the AC 45 City and the AC 300-6. This year - all terrain cranes, City cranes… and crawler cranes: all the Demag ranges will be on display in Munich, so customers can expect spectacular new crane technologies and capabilities to be exhibited for the very first time.

On the Terex side, we will exhibit the new CTT 202-10 flat top tower crane as well as our brand new tower cabin and an elevator. Customers will also be able to discover T-Link, the new Terex telematics system for tower cranes. Our rough terrain range will also be on display with updates for the Terex RT 90 and a preview for what our customers can expect for all other models in the future.

Rethink Possibilities
Our customers need total control over the entire lifting process. We believe that digital solutions can get them there faster and we want to be their partner every step of the way. Our smart new tools give them a complete overview of job planning, lifting, diagnostics and monitoring and put the incredible within reach.  This smart tool kit includes our latest state-of-the-art telematics solutions that will be shown for both Terex and Demag branded products. We will also present exciting environmental innovations and concepts for our Demag mobile cranes to answer the growing need to be independent of using traditional energy options.

Rethink Collaboration and Availability
Our customers need their cranes to be able to make the impossible possible. By working as a team and using our application engineering approach to find customized solutions matching their challenges, we can continue to succeed together. Our customers also need immediate access to world-class support services. To meet our goal of becoming the fastest supplier in the industry, we continue to invest and improve. From our 24/7 customer service to original parts; to expert responsive maintenance and repair service; and even training for our customers’ staff – we are  investing in their success.
