MDS Installs New AED Machine

MDS are delighted to announce that we have now installed a new defibrillator to our factory to assist our team members in case of an emergency onsite.  This is a brilliant asset to the factory and the team – and promotes our commitment to working towards our Terex Zero Harm goals.

Why do we need a Defib Machine?

An AED (automated external defibrillator) checks the heart’s rhythm and it automatically recognises if there is a life threatening rhythm. Once detected the AED delivers a shock to stun the heart returning it to its normal rhythm.

This is also a great asset to our community in Carrickmacross.  By having an AED access quickly, MDS want to ensure safety of the staff, visitors, and the wider community. Our new HSE Manager Cathy with our supervisor Darek pictured here with our new equipment.
