MDS Welcomes Liam Óg Murray as Regional Sales Manager

MDS^® is pleased to announce the appointment of Liam Óg Murray as Regional Sales Manager for the UK and Europe.

Liam Óg brings extensive experience to MDS, with deep roots in the aggregate and recycling equipment industry. Having been involved with MDS from a young age, he gained valuable hands-on experience during school and college holidays. In 2023, he moved to Texas and joined Crushing Tigers as a service mechanic, specialising in mobile aggregate equipment. Within months, he transitioned to the sales team as a Sales Engineer and Applications Specialist, managing sales across multiple states, delivering tailored solutions for diverse customer applications, and offering parts and service support.

Reflecting on his career, Liam Óg cites his first machine setup as a standout milestone. It marked the culmination of years spent mastering technical skills and application knowledge. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he also designed and prototyped a light-duty recycling trommel using SolidWorks—a project that showcased his technical expertise and problem-solving abilities.

As Regional Sales Manager, Liam Óg aims to provide exceptional support to the MDS distribution network through technical training and applications expertise. He is focused on achieving full market coverage across the UK and Europe, expanding the presence of MDS in existing markets, and building a catalogue of customer success stories to showcase the reliability and value of MDS solutions.
