Recently tested by Doug’s Tree Service in New Hampshire, US, a state widely known for its forested terrain, the CT8 has demonstrated exceptional performance while showcasing Green-Tec’s commitment to innovation and customer feedback.

The CT8 has a robust design and versatility to make it suitable for medium to large-sized tree care operations. Conducting a rigorous two-week trial of the CT8, Doug’s Tree Service used challenging materials such as pine milling slash and aged cherry logs to test its limits. “What impressed me most was its incredible ability to consistently throw chips in a perfect stream,” said Bryan Anderson, Doug’s Tree Service. Despite subjecting the machine to some of the worst wood his team had ever encountered, the CT8 consistently cleared itself with no operator input. The chipper’s drum and fan design also received high praise for its efficiency, reinforcing Green-Tec’s focus on durability and performance.

During testing, Green-Tec requested Doug’s Tree Service to fully challenge the machine to ensure it performed at its best. “I’ve never seen a manufacturer so genuinely interested in feedback,” Anderson added. “They encouraged us to push the machine to its limits and even break it, if necessary, all so they could make it better. It’s clear they care deeply about creating the best possible product for their customers.”

As a result of the feedback from Doug’s Tree Service, Green-Tec is making significant enhancements to the CT8, including the addition of a bottom feed roller to meet customer needs. Anderson concluded, “This machine is already impressive, and with the improvements Green-Tec is implementing, it’s clear they’re setting the stage for the CT8 to become a leader in the field.”
