Terex Ecotec Marks 1000th Machine Milestone at Terex Campsie

Terex® Ecotec, a leading provider of environmental equipment solutions, proudly announces the production of the 1000th machine at its Terex Campsie manufacturing centre of excellence, in Northern Ireland.
The Terex Ecotec product line has grown significantly since it was established in 2014 as a strategic response to meet the specialised needs of customers in the growing waste management and recycling sector. In 2019, Terex invested £12 million in the facility to focus on the development and manufacture of its waste management and recycling products. Today, the brand is an industry leader in mobile recycling equipment and thanks to an aggressive product development strategy, has over products in its comprehensive portfolio.

"Our proactive product development strategy has led to a 50% expansion of our manufacturing operations at Terex Campsie since 2019. Currently, we are producing over three times the volume compared to 2019-2020 and double the output of 2021.”

The 1000th milestone machine is the Terex Ecotec TDS 815 Slow Speed Shredder, a model introduced earlier this year that has been exceptionally well-received in the marketplace. One customer has described it as a 'Swiss Army Knife' for waste management applications. The compact yet powerful machine tackles diverse challenges that waste materials present thanks to its 1.5m twin shaft shredding unit that allows for highly efficient material reduction and quick-change shafts for adaptability and maintenance efficiency.
