The ADVANCE^® six-axle FDB6000 front-discharge mixer truck boasts a 425-hp, 1550 ft.-lb. torque Cummins ISX11.9 EPA 2010 engine, which uses Selective Catalytic Reduction technology to treat post-diesel particulate filter exhaust. A new electronic control module located on the engine automatically senses whether or not the truck is carrying a load of concrete.

The front fender and bumpers of the ADVANCE^® FDB6000 mixer truck feature a friction coating to better resist rock chips for increased component longevity. Two wide “grip” steps are incorporated into the roadside front fender to safely provide direct access to the cab. A third hanging flexible step and staircase type railing provide easy three-point cab entry for the driver.

Other features include a sealed compartment for more sensitive electronics including the hose heat fuse, hydraulic tag fuse, and engine power.
