The ADVANCE® six-axle FD6000 "Michigan Stretch" front-discharge mixer truck boasts a 425-hp, 1550 ft.-lb. torque Cummins ISX11.9 EPA 2010 engine, which uses Selective Catalytic Reduction technology to treat post-diesel particulate filter exhaust. A new electronic control module located on the engine automatically senses whether or not the truck is carrying a load of concrete.
Also featuring a long 230-in. wheelbase and barrel paddles inside the 11 cu. yd. (8.4 cu m) mixer drum's rear to minimize concrete clumping. This improves mix consistency and the quality of concrete delivered to the job site.
