The ADVANCE® FD5000 "Great Lakes" front discharge mixer truck was the first ADVANCE® mixer truck powered by a compressed natural gas (CNG) engine. The new 12-L Cummins ISX12G engine is available in 350-, 385- and 400-hp (261, 287 and 298 kW) packages
The FD5000 "Great Lakes" Mixer Truck has a five-axle wheelbase, the longer wheelbase is intended to improve weight distribution to help the truck to scale out easier when fully loaded, and improve ride quality.
