As the Data Controller of this Facebook page, we (Terex Corporation) and the operator of the social network Facebook (Facebook Ireland Ltd.) are responsible within the meaning of Art. 4 No. 7 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). 2. USAGE OF INSIGHTS AND COOKIES


In connection with the operation of this Facebook page, we use the Insights function of Facebook to receive anonymous statistical data about the users of our Facebook page. 3. PURPOSE OF DATA PROCESSING


First, the purpose of processing the information is to enable Facebook to improve its advertising, which it distributes via its network. Secondly, as the operator of the Facebook page, it is intended to enable us to obtain statistics that Facebook creates on the basis of visits to our Facebook page. The purpose of this is to control the marketing of our activities. For example, it enables us to gain knowledge of the profiles of visitors who value our Facebook page or use applications on the page to provide them with more relevant content and develop features that might be of greater interest to them.

It might happen that some of the information collected may also be processed outside the European Union by Facebook Inc. based in the USA. Facebook Inc. is certified under the US-EU data protection agreement "Privacy Shield" and thus undertakes to comply with European data protection regulations.


We do not pass on any personal data.


6. RIGHT TO OBJECT


Facebook users can influence the extent to which their user behavior may be recorded when they visit our Facebook page under the Settings for Advertising Preferences. Further possibilities are offered by the Facebook Settings or the Form for the Right of Objection.


The processing of personal data using the cookies used by Facebook can be prevented by not allowing Third Party Cookies or Cookies from Facebook in your own browser settings.


7. NATURE OF JOINT CONTROLLER


The agreements with Facebook as Joint Controller essentially mean that requests for information and the execution of further rights of the persons concerned can usefully be asserted directly with Facebook. As the provider of the social network and the possibility of integrating Facebook pages into it, Facebook alone has the direct access to the necessary information and can also take any necessary measures and provide information immediately.
